Marking an email as unread, then immediately opening it thinking it's a new email, then realizing it's the message you marked as unread, then marking it as unread, then immediately opening it for the second time thinking it was unread . . . that's dumb.

So my student tells me "I really took what you said to heart last week, about how being a drummer is about improvising, listening, discipline, and you're own personality." Then I thought wow, that's amazing I'm pretty sure I never said that . . . that's dumb.
