Today was my last day of teaching at my first placement. I thought I would share some of my favorite quotes from some of the students.

Dallison: "Miss Bartholomew, are you going to construct us today?"
Me: "I going to conduct today."

AJ: "How do you say your name....? Mrs. Bartholomule?"
Me: "Sure."

Emily(pointing to a large 4 ft. tall bari sax case): "Miss Bartholomew, what's in that case?"
Me: A bowling ball.
Emily(talking to her other friends): "Wow, there's a bowling ball in that case!"

I took Child Psychology and Principles of Music Education so I could learn how to communicate effectively with students . . . that's dumb.
