dumb stuff #20

Being told that your zipper is down, feeling foolish, checking your zipper only to find that it was never down in the first place...that's dumb.

I think i would rather be told in false alarm than to never be told and risk extended embarassment.

I have yet to find a discrete way to accomplish this feat

When this sort of thing happens dear friend, the trick to not feeling foolish is telling the person who deemed you worthy of an 'XYZ' that they were the ones who were in the wrong, not you. Deflect, friend, deflect. I'll be prepared to bear the brunt of this little trick next time =) Love you.

Ah yes, deflect. But what if she really thought the 'XYZ' was actually a problem? Food for thought.

she did think it was a problem, which is why she said something. but, you have to admit, you have a track record for mishaps like this, she had every right to think it a probable concern. in any case, though, she misses you dreadfully.
